Medical equipment and supply chains for sports arenas, hospital beds, sports stadiums and sports arenas are some of the most complicated and complicated processes in the medical equipment industry.
While most equipment manufacturers and distributors have offices and operations in the U.S., many have operations outside of the country.
In the last several years, the medical and sporting equipment industry has undergone a wave of consolidation and investment in order to grow their sales, with many of the big players investing in facilities that cater to the largest markets.
The Byron Medical Equipment and Supply Company (BHES), which has operated a medical equipment manufacturing and distribution facility in Plymouth since 2014, is the first major U.K. medical equipment manufacturer to invest in an expanded operation in the past two years.
BHES, which is headquartered in Plymouth, said it will spend about $100million to expand its current facilities.
“The expansion of our facilities and the new workforce that we have at our new facility is critical to our ability to deliver quality products to our customers and to our industry,” BHERS CEO Chris Gillingham said in a statement.
“We are very excited to expand our operations, which we believe will benefit both the company and our customers.”
Gillingham expects the company to begin building its new facility by the end of this year, which would be the third in the last five years.
The company’s other two facilities are in London and London.
BAHES said it plans to spend about 1.8 million pounds ($2.8m) to expand the facilities, including an increase in the size of its staff.
